Diwali is a major holiday in India and South Asia. The air all over is ripe with festivity. Families come together to clean, pray, and light candles welcoming Lord Rama and Sita back from exile in the forest, among other religious happenings for Hindus, Jains, and SikhsDiwali candles called diyas, are usually oil or wax based in clay lamps.
